Featured Artist: MIC T

MIC T is from Kingsgate, Washington which is located on the eastside of Seattle. His interest in music artistically began when he started writing lyrics at the age of sixteen and it intensified when he started producing beats at age twenty one. He would use the inspiration of music and being a new father to strive for more legitimate ways of life, while trying to leave darker days of crime and violence behind.

After years of just freestyling and Spitting verses here and there, he almost gave up his persuit of making music when he ran into an old friend who brought him to Undercaste Studios. It would be beneficial as he was introduced to engineer Randy Ross and found a new home to record music.

MIC T has experienced many different walks of life, and you can hear it in every song. He’s seen it all from the street, to snowboarding in the mountains, and everything in between. From pushin’ a skateboard to pushin’ drugs, then re-investing into cameras and editing equipment to self-teach his way into a more legitimate career. You add that to his strong lyrical ability and you get a whole lot of originality brought to the hip hop game.

Less than 9 months after recording his first song MIC T had finished a mixtape, and his first EP “Wave to the Haters”. Soon to come are, mixtape “Tricks Up My Sleave”, and his second EP “Can’t Appraise Priceless”.
